Otorhinolaryngology

The Otorhinolaryngology Service at the Jo Ann University Hospital offers diagnosis, management and, if necessary, surgical treatment of diseases of the throat, ear and nose.

The Service provides support to patients of all age groups:

  • Adult ambulatory otorhinolaryngology;
  • Children's ambulatory otorhinolaryngology;
  • Surgical otorhinolaryngology for adult and pediatric patients.

The Otolaryngology Service at the Jo Ann University Hospital includes:

  • Nasal breathing disorders;
  • Acute and chronic inflammatory diseases of the accessory cavities caused by allergy or infection (hymoritis, frontitis, ethmoiditis, sphenoiditis);
  • Nasal polyps;
  • Chronic tonsillitis;
  • Angina;
  • Adenoiditis;
  • Pharyngitis;
  • Acute and chronic otitis;
  • Otomycosis;
  • Sulfur plugs.

Surgical treatment of the following diseases is provided:

  • Adenotomy;
  • Tonsillectomy;
  • Adenotonsillectomy;
  • Submucous resection of the nasal septum (septoplasty);
  • Septorhinoplasty
  • Conchotomy;
  • Synus destruction;
  • Turbinoplasty;
  • Hymorotomy, polypotomy;
