Training sessions dedicated to the effective functioning of the system that should provide prevention and control of infections have begun at the Jo Ann University Hospital.

In the framework of the first training session for the medical personnel following topics were discussed: “Importance and purpose of hand hygiene in medical facilities”, “Practice of safe injections” and “Management/reduction of staff infection risks”. The sessions are led by Dr. Maya Kashia, an epidemiologist at the Jo Ann University Hospital.
